Stephen Gingell - B. Accty (Hons.), LL.M. (Tax) (Lond.)

Steve holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.) degree from the University of Malta in Accountancy and a Masters in Law with a specialisation in tax from Queen Mary, University of London. He is currently in the process of completing the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation.

Steve is a Tax Manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Malta and is involved in providing advice to a combination of international and local clients. During 2008, Steve completed a two year secondment with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, UK in tax.

His interests include reading, swimming and carpentry.

Mirko Rapa B.Accty (Hons.), ACCA, AIA, CPA Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons.), ACCA qualified.

Mirko is a tax manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and provides tax advise to a varied portfolio of clients.

Interests include: football, motor and water sports.

Ritianne Cassar Soler B.Accty (Hons), IIT (Dip.), MIA, CPA, MIM

Ritianne holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree from the University of Malta and a Diploma in VAT Compliance from the Institute of Indirect Taxation (UK). Over the past years, she worked with established consultancy firms focusing on accounting, consultancy and tax related services, particularly in the international context. In May 2009, Ritianne was appointed Manager – Finance of the National Agency responsible to regulate telecommunications in Malta. She recently joined the Technical Department of the Malta Institute of Accountants as a Technical Officer.

Interests include volleyball, music, visual arts and voluntary work to help those in need.

Roberto Micallef FCCA, MIA, CPA, M.A.

Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy and Management at the University of Malta, ACCA qualified, Masters degree in Financial Services at the University of Malta. Currently running his own company specialising in accountancy, consultancy and tax advisory services. Also worked as a part time consultant with an established consultancy firm focusing on consultancy and tax related services particularly in the international context.

Interests include football, tennis and travelling.

Chris Pace B.Accty (Hons), AIA, Dip. Tax, IFSP, CPA

Graduated as an accountant from the University of Malta and also achieved a distinction in the Diploma in Taxation awarded by the Malta Institute of Taxation. He has worked in the tax service line of two leading internationally affiliated professional services firms. He is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants, a member of the Malta Institute of Taxation and a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners.

He is engaged mainly in direct and indirect tax issues relating both to local corporate and personal tax clients. Moreover, he is involved in providing advice on the setting up of new Maltese tax structures involving cross-border transactions.
